Coaching for Younger People

Mini tennis is where it all starts for children aged 3-11. This is a three stage progression of modified tennis equipment and court sizes, which will enable children to develop the necessary technical, tactical, physical and mental skills required in the modern game. Each stage has a colour code: Red, Orange and Green. Starting with Red the children play on a 12m court with a 22 inch racket and a sponge ball. As they progress the court size, racket length, speed of ball, height of the bounce and the length of the game will increase until they reach the full game.

We have groups of all levels available on most weekday evenings and at weekends. Cost ranges from £4.00 to £6.50 per lesson. We have one of the largest club and schools coaching programmes in the county and we are an accredited Performance Centre for the Lawn Tennis Association.
